Pastor Dipo Filani
The General Overseer of the Upper Room Baptist Church, Pastor Oluleke Akinola on Saturday said that despite the many attributes of late politician, MKO Abiola, “30 of Moshood Abiola cannot solve the problems in Nigeria today except God”.
The Pastor disclosed this at the dedication and Inauguration ceremony of the Christ’s Overcomers Outreach Ministry International (COM) at the Palmroof hall, Alakuko, Lagos.

The event had in attendance, pastors and G.O of the Upper Room Baptist Church, family members, friends and well wishers of Pastor Dipo Filani (founder of COM).
According to the founder, Pastor Filani, “Christ’s Overcomers Ministry is an outreach ministry and not another church”.

There were lots of interesting activities at the event, one of which is the special rendition by Miss Kemi Adekumbi whose supranoic voice brought the hall to a standstill for about 5minutes.

There was also the special rendition by the church (New convenant choir) choir and the beautiful speech given by Pastor Filani where he beautifully talked about his family, the church and God.

The dedication prayer was led by Pastor Oluleke Akinola and joined by other ordained ministers at the event.

The cutting of cake followed suit and there after was the launching of the book “the power of goal setting” written by Pastor Dipo Filani.
The
event ended with a vote of thanks by Mrs Omotolani Filani (Pastor Filani’s wife)
and closing prayers by Pastor Moses Akanmu who is the chairman PFN
