Adamawa Police Command cofirms the death of one 37-year-old mother of two children who passed on in the house of her lover during a sex romp.
Lekan Agboola, a telecommunication enginer, the lover of the deceased has been arrested, the police confirmed as he’s needed to help them with the investigation into the death of his lover.
DSP Suleiman Nguroje, the State Police spokesperson in Yola while speaking with journalist confirmed the arrest, adding Lekan is currently detained at the criminal investigation department.
Agboola confessed that he had beeen in a romantic relationship with Lugas for the past 3 years and he’s also married with two children who resided in Lagos.
Narrating the ordeal that led to the death of Lugas, Agboola said he had called Lugas to meet him at home.
He said he noticed she suddenly becmae soft while they were having sex.
He said, “On February 24, 2021, around 9am, I called her on the phone and asked her to see me because we had not seen each other for some time. When she arrived, we started having fun and she suddenly collapsed.
‘’When I realised she was not breathing, I then called one of my female friends and told her what happened. She advised me to take her to a hospital where she was confirmed dead.”
The family of the deceased said the suspect something is fishy about Agboola testimony, urging the police to get to the root of the matter.
A relation of Lugas, Bridget Lucas said she was at home when Agboola called her to come over on February 24 on the phone, adding that he called back an hour later saying her sister had died.
She added, ‘’I appeal to the police, Adamawa State Government, civil society organisations and well-meaning Nigerians to ensure justice for Andi and not let the matter be swept under the carpet.”
