It’s another blissful Monday and we have got a cute couple – Bukola and Seun Ohuruogu – for the week! Just like in the movies/novels their story is a ‘love at first sight’ one – they were both attracted to each other’s ‘gorgeous’ looks on a Christmas day :)….how sweet! They had their traditional wedding on the 29th May 2014 and the white wedding on the 31st May 2014.

Gushing about her handsome hubby, Bukola said “I
met the love of my life on Xmas day, he and a friend of mine visited me in my apartment…as soon as I saw him, my heart melted”
“Actually, that’s not the first time I set my eyes on him. Occasionally we passed by each other….I had always been his secret admirer
and had nursed the idea of what dating him felt like…so it was like a dream come true when he showed up in my house that day!”

“I was shocked and excited to see him…Being the nice gal that I am, I offered them food – fried rice to be precise – he loved it! He fell in love with my fried rice….yea, we got talking, talked a great deal on different issues….and then they left”

Bukola couldn’t stop thinking about him and as fate would have it, the feeling was mutual, Seun was having sleepless nights too. He was drawn to her like a metal to a magnet.

“I
just couldn’t stop dreaming how cute he was, days passed and then voila,
I got a message
from him…believe me, I was excited, over whelmed…he asked me out on
several dates…we realized we couldn’t do without each other and LOVE happened’

myself and I noticed she won’t get her eyes of me……she offered her
delicious fried rice and turkey….it was delicious! We got talking…and then I couldn’t take my eyes off her.
I
got home thinking about her: her voice….her attractive body….her
beauty……after a few days I got her number from that friend of
ours….I
called her and boom, we clicked. We began texting on viber, skyping, and whatsapping…….soon I
asked this NAIJA girl out for a coffee and she gladly accepted……..”Halleluiah! Halleluiah! Halleluiah! That’s how I
fell in love with my precious Bukola and all I wanted in this life was
for her to be my bride, my wife, best friend, my padlock, my heart and
soul-mate.”

Our proposal story:
‘Many nights after, he proposed to me. That night,
I was out at work when I got some sort of strange message from my hubby
– the message was directed to another woman, “hey she’s not home, meet
me up at the roof top ” the message read. Hun?!

I
didn’t bother replying the message but I couldn’t straight either,
who’s the other woman this guy has been seeing, I kept asking myself. So as soon as I got home, I sneaked up to the roof top at our apartment hoping to find ‘them’ in the act or something…lol…only to find candles every where!
There was also a bottle
of champagne, it was a beautiful and romantic sight to behold.
I was totally speechless and trying to comprehend what was happening when he went on his knees and asked me to marry him.The exact words he used “my one and only, will u marry me” Mehn, I was super-uber excited, I said YES!

We spent the rest of the night at the
roof top in each other’s arms, starring at the beautiful sky and making wishes – that night still remains one of my best nights! Two months after, we began planning our wedding and whoop, here we are today :).
Seun’s version:
“I proposed to her on the roof top with lots of candle lights and played
a trick on her so that she would come to the roof top, which she did as
planned and she was overwhelmed with what I have done.
