There is currently a war going on between Nigerian banks which was started by Sterling Bank on Twitter.
Sterling Bank took to Twitter to throw a shade at other banks with claims that customers prefer them over others. They also shared a picture depicting logos of First Bank, GTBank, Access Bank, Union Bank.
In the picture, Union Bank’s logo is represented by a white horse with a customer riding on it. Behind it is an elephant depicting First Bank’s logo with a customer also riding on it. It is followed by an orange square which has an inner square showing a man in jail. The man likely represents a customer in GTBank. Lastly, we see an Access Bank customer going in the opposite direction. Above them all is a customer seen taking a rocket to meet the Sterling Bank logo which is placed in the sky.
