Senator Dino Melaye was on Thursday May 3,2018, denied bail by a Senior Magistrate Court 2, Lokoja, Kogi State and will be remanded in custody of the Nigerian Police Force till June 11, 2018
According to reports, the singing lawmaker was charged with conspiracy and aiding of jail break and was brought to court in a police ambulance.
It may be recalled that Melaye was declared wanted following his refusal to appear before the police to answer to accusations by some arrested suspects, who alleged that the senator supplied them with arms and ammunition
