The amount Chelsea will lose if Real Madrid fails to sign Antonio Conte has been revealed. Yesterday, The Spanish Giants sacked Julen Lopetegui with his replacement yet to be announced. The club is currently being managed by Santi Solari.
Former Chelsea coach, Antonio Conte has however been in talks with Madrid and is most likely to sign a contract soon if terms are met.
However, Conte’s failure to agree to terms with the Los Blancos could cost Chelsea more than £7 million.
Under the terms of his last contract, signed in July 2017, Conte is entitled to receive his £9.5 million salary for a year. This will take place until he takes another job.
