A Nigerian man, simply identified as Freeman Godwin, alleged to be an aide to the Cross River State Governor, Ben Ayade, has threatened to commit suicide over non-payment of his salary.
In the viral video posted by one Phylo Modlin Odu, the man is heard yelling and sobbing to two men in an office as they tried to pacify him down.
According to the University of Calabar graduate, he was running his own business when they called to give him an appointment.
Godwin claimed that he had to borrow money to do the documentation for the job yet he has not been paid, adding that his wife gave birth cesarean section yet he has no money to cater for her and his baby
“When it is time for work, they will use you and dump you, at the end of the day nothing happen. I will die for this Government.” he cried out.
