Former Tottenham Hotspur manager, Harry Redknapp has been sharing some stories from the world of football which has left many fans in great surprise.
Speaking to Nick Knowles, Redknapp’s words about former Manchester United manager, Sir Alex Ferguson, really got the most out of fans.
“Fergie was always great and have a great bottle of wine after the game,” he said.
“I’d be in Fergie’s office at 2.45pm for a 3pm kick-off.
“The teams would go out and he would have the racing on.
“I would sit there and he said I have got one in the 2:45.
“I said ‘Alex I have got to go’.
“But he wasn’t bothered because he would go and win and had such a good team.”
Fans flooded Twitter after the revelation to post their thoughts.
