After quitting the movies in 2007 for the duty of “commissioner for Culture and Tourism in Delta state’, it seems RMD had decided to re-appear in the movie world in a yet to be named new movie (I can’t wait to see it)

Local media say the movie ‘a
film adaptation of a novel by award winning writer, Sefi Atta’ will be produced by renowned actress and producer Ego Boyo.

As a producer, Eyo Boyo has several
critically acclaimed films to her credit, including Violated, Keeping
Faith (this movie was great…I loved RMD and Genevieve Nnanji in the movie) and 30 Days.
Back to the new movie: The film will be directed by award winning director, Akin
Omotoso and will feature Nollywood’s best actors – Richard
Mofe-Damijo, Joke Silva, Kate Henshaw,
Nse Ikpe-Etim, Lala Akindoju, and Chukie
Edozien (a.k.a Lynyxxx) amongst others. A number of the actors
featuring in the movie are currently in rehearsal camp.
