Actor Saidi Balogun has lost his mum, Jolade.
The 52-year-old announced her death via a post on Instagram on Monday.
“Good night mama mi Jolade omo Olomu Aperan. Rest in peace,” he wrote.
The actor has been receiving condolence messages from colleagues among whom are Yomi Fabiyi and Kemi Afolabi.
Saidi Balogun used to be married to actress, Faithia Williams.
They wedded on September 2000 at the Ikorodu Marriage Registry in Lagos.
Their marriage produced two children, Khalid and Aliyah Balogun.
The lovebirds, however, separated for a few years before getting officially divorced on January 17, 2014.
