Cardiff City Chairman, Mehmet Dalman has revealed that Emiliano Sala made his own travelling plans to travel to Wales.
Sala who joined Cardiff on Saturday from Nantes.
The Argentine flew on a single-engine Piper PA-46 Malibu.
French Civil Aviation Authority had confirmed that Emiliano Sala was on board the missing flight.
“We spoke to the player and asked him if we should make travelling arrangements for his flight which would have been commercial but he declined.
‘I can’t tell who arranged the flight but it is certainly not Cardiff City.
‘We are still praying, Warnock is in a state of shock we are hoping to hear good news’
