Police ACP, Yomi Shogunle has reacted to a viral report of a couple who were caught having sex inside their car parked in a residential area. Pictures of the couple caught in the act was circulated across social media to the notice of the police.
Reacting to the report, Yomi Shogunle stated that what the couple were caught doing doesn’t contravene any law in Nigeria.
He wrote:

Sex in a car in a public place is not a crime in Nigeria provided;
1. Location is not a place of worship
2. Parties are 18 yrs+
3. The act is consensual (agreed to by parties)
4. Parties are of opposite sex
