Silverbird Television has issued a statement which shows that the news of the sacking or retirement of one if its talk show host Shade Ladipo was all an April Fool’s prank.
Few days ago, Shade Ladipo took to social media with claims that she was fired by the management of Silverbird Television because she was too controversial.
She said:
“It’s been a weird sort of day and I’m sad to say that my run with Silverbird TV is over
Suffice to say but my being soooo controversial didn’t go down well with the powers that be
I have enjoyed every opportunity given to me but.”
However, some colleagues of hers denied the claim, stating that she resigned on her own because she never wanted corrections.
Well, Silverbird Television has come out to say it was all a joke and April Fool’s prank.
