Nollywood Actor, Prince James Uche who has been down with a kidney related ailment has finally passed on.
It will be recalled that the sickness of the actor earlier in
this year became a topic of discuss with the Actors Guild of Nigeria
being accused of abandoning the actor, but the former President, Ibinabo
Fiberesima, had to come out to clear the air on the issue that the AGN
had done its best to care for the actor.
He had been unconscious for the past 5 days and was on his way for
dialysis in an ambulance when he died at 2:15pm. He was scheduled to
travel to India this Saturday for further treatment. He was 55 years
old.
According to statement from Prince James Uche’s colleagues who have been rallying round for his medical bills abroad, he started behaving funny since Sunday morning and passed on this afternoon.
”We regret to be the bearers of this sad news, but our COLLEAGUE, father, husband [PRINCE JAMES UCHE) passed on [Wednesday] from complications following Diabetes Blindness, BP, kidney.He has been experiencing fever, strange blood infection, and strange blisters on his legs for the past three days after he secured his Visa before he passed on today Wednesday March 8th in the Ambulance on his way for Dialysis at 2:15pm.. He was meant to travel this Saturday March 11th to India for his surgery…We sincerely want to thank everyone who donated to save this great man…we shall keep you all posted…”
Prince
James has acted in movies like; The Councilor, Igodo, Coronation and
The lost Kingdom. He was also an active man in the industry before his
sickness.
