Nigerians have reacted to the story of a woman who revealed she can’t leave her abusive boyfriend.
According to Baddie_Muna, she can’t leave money over a few punches. This comes after another social media user, The Man Shola called out the hypocrisy of some women. He wrote, “You can leave a broke guy. But you can’t leave the guy who beats you.”
Muna responded, “How can I leave money because they punch me once in a while?”
Reacting to it, Nigerians recalled the recent domestic violence issue of IVD and his late wife, Bimbo as they called her out and wished her a peaceful rest in advance for choosing to stick to an abusive boyfriend.

Ifemeludike_ commented, “Money money money!!! African woman lost her self worth and dignity because she is jobless!”
One Maris Ehi commented, “At this point, I am no longer chooking my mouth into anything that concerns relationship and if another dies as a result of domestic violence, I’ll simply put #RIP“

One ChidinmmaPaints quoted her tweet and wrote, “Someone replied my WhatsApp status with a screenshot of your tweet now. He is a guy. @Baddie_muna I feel very sorry for you. I feel truly very sorry for you.”
The backlash didn’t sit well with Muna, who took back to the micro blogging platform and claimed it was all sarcasm.
She responded, “your ignorance and stupidity didn’t allow you to figure out that this is sarcasm you even went to search for me and tag me to your stupid clout… bunch of ignorant people claiming feminism”
