Come December, 2016, they would have been pronounced Husband and Wife by the priest in the presence of family members and loved ones, but their dreams short-lived as the beautiful bride-to-be, Jennifer Obayi died in the arms of her fiance last Saturday, after a ghastly road accident.
The bereaved groom, Collins Ifeanyi Egbosi, wrote this on Facebook: “I WEEP FOR U UNCONTROLLABLY MY JEWEL, MY LOVE,MY HAPPINESS,MY FIRST LADY,HEART OF GOLD, AS WE FONDLY CALL U,A WOMAN OF SUBSTANCE,A GOOD COMFORTER, MY CUTEBERRY. WE PLANNED SO MANY THINGS TOGETHER, I WISH U CAN WAKE UP AND FINISH THEM WITH ME MY LOVE, I LOVE U SO MUCH MY HONEY.I WISH WE GREW OLD TOGETHER TILL ETERNITY. DEATH HAS BROKEN MY HEART

When Kemi Filani Blog contacted Mr. Collins to commiserate with him, he shared with us the sad story of how he lost his ‘Cuteberry’.
“Our wedding plans are on top gear. We planned to do every thing by December; Traditional and Church wedding. Then on Saturday, she left school at Unizik, Awka, Anambra State to visit me at Onitsha, within same state, it not up to an hour journey. Then the bus she boarded had a terrible accident, just in front of my house and she bleed to death right in my arms. She died few minutes after the accident. I still can’t believe My Love is gone forever. She will be buried next Friday. This is so sad! Can i ever live without her??” he said amidst uncontrollable tears.
