This year’s presidential election saw what has never been done
before- Incumbent president, Goodluck Jonathan who ran for re-election
under the PDP party, didn’t put up a fight when APC presidential-elect,
Mohammadu Buhari won the election.
Instead, he called him to concede to defeat.
In the same fashion, the defeated governors during the weekend’s
guber elections followed in his footsteps and each called the winners of
their state to concede.
Little did anyone realize the big losers in this game were – the lawyers.
Festus Keyamo, for laughs, joked about the fact that some lawyers
aren’t too happy about the phone calls as it is bad for business.
Still don’t get it?
Well apparently, due to the fact that losers are conceding to defeat,
there isn’t going to be a tribunal, hence no cases to handle.
