Oh Debo and Fisayo!
We just had to share these lovely pre-wedding photos – by Akintayomi – to prove wrong those that check out ‘heights’ in relationships!
Debo proposed to his woman in 2013 – their wedding is on the 15th of March.
Read their love story narrated by Fisayo (the bride-to-be) below:
“Debo and I met through a cousin of mine, at that time I wasn’t
interested in a relationship. But my cousin so keen to hook us up, told
me to just play along and be friends with him. We ended up exchanging
blackberry pin. (Lol). We got taking and became friends but nothing
further. As Debo was living in Nigeria and I Live in the UK, I didn’t
give relationship a thought between us.
Come March 2012. I went to Nigeria for the National Youth
Service (NYSC). I told Debo I was coming over but didn’t have the
intention of seeing him even though he was eager and wanted to pick
me up at the airport.
3days after I arrived in Nigeria, we arranged to
meet up on the 6th of March which happen to be his birthday. And which
also happen to be the date he asked me to be his girlfriend.
I didn’t say
Yes, I just laughed and went with the flow.
I went to camp the following day and started ignoring Debo’s calls.
Poor guy he gave up.
Fast forward to 2weeks later, a gentle man drove 4hrs
to visit a me…he was suffering from shortness of breath.
Ohh I was
touched and there was this smile on my face. (did I add he was looking
effortlessly Handsome on that day. Needless to say……. We are now getting married!
With
these few points of mine, I hope I have been able to convince you and
not confuse you that a short cute boo is sooooooo the way forward……:)”
