Yes, it is no longer news that Nigeria’s leading telecoms company MTN is coughing out N100m as endorsement fees for its new ambassadors however you guys didn’t know why they made such a move!
NET reports that MTN which has had a radical shift in policy, following the recent portability drama, is hoping to push pop star Davido, along with four Project Fame alumni, as brand ambassadors; before any rivals – especially Etisalat which was badly burnt in the Saka Portability campaign – picks them up.
Reports claim that each of the Project Fame acts (Mike, Iyanya, Chidinma and Praiz) will receive nothing less than N15m and
Davido who was reportedly paid N30m for his debut MTN TVC last year is also renewing for the same amount.
