Dangote have been listed among the wealthy African buyers, spending almost
£4million on London property every week –
As a matter of fact, Mrs. Alakija allegedly owns 5 apartments at the exclusive One Hyde Park apartments, worth £81 Million while DJ Xclusive has also invested property in the capital.
In a new report by Daily Mail, these wealthy African buyers spend almost £4million on London property every week.
These super rich Africans allegedly invest their expansive wealth in
prime London property for reasons such as cultural ties to London,
general safety and education for their children added to this is the
threat of Ebola and terrorism.
Most of the buyers are from Nigeria, Ghana, Congo, Gabon, Cameroon and Senegal, with Nigeria taking the lead!
According to the report 80 per cent of the super rich spend between
£15million to £25million on a residential property, while ten per cent
spend more than £30million.
If they are not buying, they are renting luxury pads for up to
£15,000-per-week and staying for between six weeks and three months per
year.
The is despite the salary of the average Nigerian being £850 a year….oh well!
