A suspected local yahoo boy who was detained by the police has explained how he transfers money from people’s bank account using just his victim’s SIM and Bank Verification Number (BVN).
Speaking in Yoruba, the man who is yet to be identified at the filing of this report, while being interrogated, said he uses the bank codes on any sim card that receives bank alerts to transfer money to another account to which he has access. He also mentioned that he takes loans from the banks of any sim card he lays his hands-on
