Zinedine Zidane who just returned to Real Madrid has answered a question about Cristiano Ronaldo returning to the Spanish side.

Real Madrid yesterday re-signed Zidane, 45, as manager on a three-year deal after the European champions’ season collapsed within seven days and he will be seen on the touchline for the first time in this era against Celta Vigo.
The Frenchman who won three consecutive Champions League titles for the Los Blancos before resigning last May has also revealed why he returned to the club.

Ronaldo who also left the Bernabeu for Juventus, played a vital role in Zidane’s successful first spell, and has already been linked with a return to the Spanish capital. But Zidane was reluctant to speak on a potential return of the Portuguese talisman who scored 450 goals in 438 games for Real but insisted on focusing on the remaining games of this season.

“That is not today’s issue,” he said. “We have 11 games to play, then we will see for next year. We all know Cristiano, one of the best players in this club’s history.
“But today is not for talking about these things. I am not thinking yet about that. The most important thing is to be back at the club, and I am just thinking now about these 11 games.
“We will have time to look at the rest, with the appropriate people, then we will plan for next season.”
