Former presidential aide, Reno Omokri, has said the former governor of Anambra State, Peter Obi, knows he would be defeated if he should contest in the 2023 presidential election.
According to him, the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, shouldn’t bother wasting money on campaigns if Peter Obi should emerge as it flagbearer.
Omokri, in a series of tweets, urged the PDP to wait to see who will emerge the presidential flagbearer of the ruling All Progressives Congress before it decides on its own.
He wrote, “If I will counsel the PDP, I would urge them to postpone their Presidential primaries until the APC hold theirs. The APC is confused. That’s why they are talking of consensus. They want to choose their candidate based on who the PDP chooses. So, frustrate them!
“If PDP picks Peter Obi, they should just not waste any money for the general election. Whoever APC picks will defeat him.
“I know it is not what you guys from the SE want to hear. Even @PeterObi, knows this fact. Oya, insult! It is your work!”
