The National Working Committee of the All Progressive Congress has nullified the Lagos State gubernatorial primary exercise.
The NWC was sent from Abuja to monitor the election held across the 20 local government areas of the state on Tuesday.
The primary is being contested by the state Governor, Akinwunmi Ambode and Babajide Sanwo-Olu.
According to the Chairman of the committee, Mr. Clement Ebri, the election could not have held because they were yet to get the list of representatives of one of the two aspirants.
Ebiri gave this address to the press around 4.30pm at Protea Hotel, Alausa, but failed to mention the camp that went against the modalities for the election.
