The All Progressive Congress (APC) has labeled the Speaker of the House of Representative, Honorable Yakubu Dogara, as a worthless politician. This is in reaction to reports that Dogara has left its fold even when he is yet to formally do so.
The speaker is reported to have picked up the nomination form of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) ahead of next year’s general elections.
Reacting to the news, the ruling party APC said, “He is not a loss to us. Even if we give him the ticket he would lose on ground. He is not even on ground in the first place,” Yekini Nabena, the acting spokesman of the APC was quoted by Premium Times to have said on Thursday.
“It is not a surprise to us, we already know that he has been working with the PDP.
“Those kinds of people we call them Abuja politicians.
“He is not a problem as far as I am concerned. Yakubu Dogara has no electoral value in the APC,” Nabena added.
