Former President of the Senate and Secretary General of the Federation, Anyim Pius Anyim, has said PDP BoT members have been reassured that he’s ready and equipped by experience and exposure to be Nigeria’s next president.
He said this in a post on Facebook shortly after holding a meeting with the the BoT members.
Anyim, in the post, stated that he received loud ovation, commendations and encouragement from the BOT members, just as he stated that a greater Nigeria is coming.
He said, “I have just finished meeting with members of the Board of Trustees (BOT) of our great Party, the PDP to brief them on my vision, plan and programme for our dear country. As a member of the BOT, I was at home with my fellow Party leaders and elders.
“I reminded them that as the conscience of our party, it lies on their shoulders to guide the PDP to take the right actions and decisions to save Nigeria.
“I received loud ovation, commendations and encouragement from the BOT members.
“I am glad that our members were reassured that I am ready and equipped by experience and exposure, competence, capacity and temperament to lead the charge, as President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, to drive the collective determination of our great party to re-unite, rebuild and reposition Nigeria as the hope of Africa and the black race.
A Greater Nigeria is coming.”
