About His Career Till Now
Iwobi, after having moved to England at the age of four, made his debut for Arsenal in October 2015, in the Round 16 of the League Cup.
A few weeks latter he debuted in the Premier League against Swansea city as a Substitute for Mesut Ozil. He came on at the 85th minute.
Having played for England previously, Iwobi decided to go back to Nigeria. He made his international debut for Nigeria in the same year and from then on, it’s been a memorable journey.
He went on to score two goals against Everton and Watford in his first two premier league starts. He was selected by Nigeria for the 2016 Summer Olympics squad. He did not get a chance for the main squad though.

In August 2017, tragedy struck as Iwobi had to pull out of Nigeria’s campaign due to an injury but scored against Zambia in October to secure Nigeria’s berth in the 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia. He has scored 4 times for his nation for 14 caps.
Iwobi scored the only goal for his nation against England in a preworld cup friendly. He is selected as the member of the 25 member sqaud for the World Cup 2018 Russia.
