Super Eagles goalkeeper, Stanley Nwabali has thanked fans for their support following his knee injury against Cameroon in the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations Round of 16.
The injury has made Nwabali doubtful for the quarter-final clash against Angola this Friday.
The Chippa United stopper wrote on X: “Thanks to everyone that checked up and showed disquiet in one way or the other at this strenuous time, I appreciate.
“We’re all human and anything is prone to happen. Onto the next one!”
Nwabali was replaced by Francis Uzoho for the last 10 minutes of the match against the Indomitables.
Uzoho will start if Nwabali fails to recover in time for the game.
