After defeating Huddersfield Town 1-0 in the Championship play-off final at Wembley, Nottingham Forest has been promoted back to the Premier League.
Forest won thanks to an own goal by Huddersfield defender Levi Colwill, who returned to the top tier of English football for the first time since being relegated in the 1998-99 season.
Forest were bottom of the Championship with one point from seven matches when Steve Cooper was hired in September.
It also ends Huddersfield’s nine-match winning streak, and they must now plan for another season in the second tier.
Ryan Yates headed a Forest free kick just wide in the 11th minute.
Yates then blasted over the bar as Cooper’s side attempted to score.
Sorba Thomas’ attempt was saved by Forest goalkeeper Brice Samba, and Danny Ward headed a corner over.

Jon Moss booked Toffolo for diving despite replays showing minor contact. VAR did not overrule his decision.
Lewis O’Brien tangled with Max Lowe shortly after, but Moss denied another penalty.
