The young international for England just missed from a few yards out as he guided his header back across goal and into the bottom corner.
Wilfried Zaha gave Palace the lead in the 69th minute after sustained pressure.
Odsonne Edouard was expertly slid in by Eze, who then found Zaha running, with the Ivorian taking a touch before misfiring from 12 yards to send Jose Sa the wrong way. Palace went in pursuit of another, but they couldn’t beat Sa for a third time.
The Eagles are now three points behind fifth-placed Manchester United after rising five points above the relegation zone.
Wolves, who are currently ranked 17th, were unable to string together consecutive victories.
