Liverpool owners, Fenway Sports Group, have put up the Premier League side for sale.
FSG bought the Anfield club from George Gillett Jr. and Tom Hicks in October 2010.
Since then, the Reds have won the Premier League, Champions League, FA Cup and League Cup.
Jurgen Klopp was appointed manager in 2015. And he has been a huge success at Anfield despite the team’s current issues. Liverpool are just eighth in the Premier League going into the World Cup.
FSG has considered selling Liverpool before. And is now inviting offers once again, with a full sales presentation produced for interested parties.

A statement from FSG to The Athletic read: ‘There have been a number of recent changes of ownership and rumours of changes in ownership at EPL clubs and inevitably we are asked regularly about Fenway Sports Group’s ownership in Liverpool.
‘FSG has frequently received expressions of interest from third parties seeking to become shareholders in Liverpool.
‘Fenway Sports Group has said before that under the right terms and conditions we would consider new shareholders if it was in the best interests of Liverpool as a club.
‘FSG remains fully committed to the success of Liverpool, both on and off the pitch.’
Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley have been retained to assist with the sale process.
During FSG’s ownership, Anfield has been transformed with a new £110million Main Stand. While the Anfield Road Stand is currently in redevelopment at a cost of £80m.
Fenway Sports Group, who are principally owned by John W. Henry, also own American baseball team Boston Red Sox and television network NESN.
Liverpool have endured a poor start to the 2022-23 campaign but beat Tottenham 2-1 on Sunday to move to within seven points of the top-four.
Klopp’s side progressed to the knockout stages of the Champions League but have been drawn to face holders Real Madrid in the last 16 stage.
