Manchester United have sent an official bid to Chelsea for defender Marc Cucurella.
Negotiations are now on between the clubs over a loan deal.
United are in the market for a left-back given injuries to Luke Shaw and Tyrell Malacia.
Other options include Tottenham’s Sergio Reguilon, Barcelona’s Marcos Alonso and Roma’s Leonardo Spinazzola.
Cucurella joined Chelsea in a £62million deal from Brighton last summer.
He is behind Ben Chilwell in the Chelsea pecking order..
“I cannot talk about suppositions and rumours,” Chelsea manager, Mauricio Pochettino, told reporters on Tuesday.
“I cannot talk rumours. I think, at the moment, nothing has changed.
“For tomorrow he’s going to be available to play and at the moment the club have not informed me anything about this situation.”
