Former Manchester United manager, Sir Alex Ferguson has taken a swipe at the club’s executive vice chairman Ed Woodward whom he urged to use Bayern Munich as an example of how a club should be run.
His comment is coming just after Manchester United had an awful season that saw them miss out on all trophies and also a champions league spot for next season.
As the club prepares ahead of next season, Sir Alex Ferguson is keen at how the affairs are being run. Using Bayern Munich as an example, he said:
“They’re a great club,” the Scotsman said.
“It’s a club run in the proper foundation of it. Former players who run it really, Uli Hoeness and Karl-Heinz Rummenigge.
“They run the club in the right way and they are always winning the league in Germany. They’re a great club.”
Ferguson made this known during g a match between legends of both club’s which saw United winning 5-0.
