The 23-year-old has already scored seven goals in eight Serie A appearances this season. He missed four top-tier matches due to a thigh injury suffered on matchday one of the UEFA Champions League versus Liverpool.
Osimhen now leads Serie A in scoring with seven goals and providing an assist. Marko Arnautovic of Bologna has the same number of goals, but from ten games.
Osimhen could be featured when Napoli travels to England to face Liverpool in their final Group A match on Tuesday.
