Al Nassr striker, Cristiano Ronaldo has reacted to be named as the most searched athlete on Google for 2023.
The five-time Ballon d’Or winner beat other notable sports people around the world to the number one spot globally.
He tweeted: “Grateful to be honored as the most searched athlete in @google

Ronaldo went into 2023 on the back of the most disappointing season during his iconic playing career.
In 2022, he scored his fewest amount of goals in a calendar year (16) than he has recorded in any year since 2005 (15) – when he was just 20-years-old.
Now 38, he has returned to form – albeit, playing in a much weaker league – scoring 50 goals in all competitions for club and country with three games left to play.
He has netted ten times in nine games for his country, while also scoring 40 in 46 matches for Al-Nassr.
