Kevin De Bruyne, Manchester City and Belgium’s talisman, has hinted that Qatar 2022 could be his final World Cup.
De Bruyne, now 31, has admitted that he may play in his final World Cup this winter. The midfielder also revealed that City are not discussing the tournament because of their hectic club schedule.

I am obviously 31 and I don’t know what will happen in four years,” De Bruyne added. “It is my third time, I understand what is coming and I cannot speak for someone else who will be there for the first time. We are not talking about it with team-mates. The schedule is too hectic,” De bruyne said after 1-0 win against Leicester on Saturday.
De Bruyne’s focus will be on club matters with City before attending what could be his final World Cup in Qatar. Guardiola’s side play four games in three competitions in just 13 days before Qatar 2022, with De Bruyne and co. determined not to lose ground on Arsenal in the league after their 5-0 thrashing of Forest on Sunday.
De Bruyne is ranked tenth in Belgium’s international football history in terms of appearances (93) and goals (25).
The first match in the aforementioned hectic schedule is a Champions League match against Sevilla on Wednesday, followed by a league match against Fulham on Saturday.
