The UFC welterweight champion, Kamaru Usman has been had ned a 180-day by over an injury he sustained in his last fight.
The fight which was against Jorge Masvidal saw Usman retain his title which got him paid $630,000.
The ban is to allow the Nigerian Nightmare, 33, heal from the broken nose injury he sustained.
He has been told to avoid any contact work during the period of the ban.
Masvidal on his own part was handed a month ban for the laceration on his forehead during the fight. This is also to allow him to heal from the injury.
