Marcus Rashford has now been officially registered as a Barcelona player, ahead of their LaLiga opener on Saturday.
The Spanish champions have been confirmed that the England forward will be in the squad to face Mallorca.
There were doubts over Rashford’s registration on the eve of the new season , with Barça coach Hansi Flick admitting he was “not happy” with the situation.
In the end, several deals were completed on Friday, to help create the salary space to register Rashford.
This includes the transfer of the remaining 50% of Francisco Trincão’s rights to Sporting CP for €11 million. Jules Koundé’s new contract, which spread out the amortisation payments on the €55m ($64.3m) transfer fee over three more years.
Rashford joined Barcelona on an initial 12-month loan deal from Manchester United last month.
