Manchester United are putting nearly £150million into new signing, Harry Maguire, as per SportsMail.
Maguire fixed a world-record £80m change from Leicester City and was uncovered as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s third summer signing on Monday.
The 26-year-old has penned a six-year contract with the alternative of an extra season.
He will gain in the region of £190,000 every week, during what is the longest deal at any point signed at Old Trafford.
Maguire’s wages will come in at £69m should he stay at the club for a long time, taking United’s complete expense to just shy of £150m.
United conceded 54 goals last season and of the main 10 teams, just West Ham conceded more.
