Football fans have mocked Paris Saint-Germain and believe that Lionel Messi and Neymar must be truly happy wherever they are now watching the French side’s performance from this season.
Messi and Neymar suffered tremendous backlash at PSG especially after they weren’t able to help the club in their quest for Champions League glory.
PSG had brought together some of the best legs in world football to help them win Europe’s elite competition, a trophy that has eluded them.
Messi, Neymar and Mbappe combined couldn’t help them even reach the semi-final for once.
And while Mbappe has remained at the club to lead the new look PSG under Luis Enrique, Messi and Neymar led the exodus of superstars that left Parc des Princes in the summer.
Lionel Messi has settled to life in America’s Major League Soccer, lacing his boots for Inter Miami where he has scored 11 goals in 12 appearances while Neymar is enjoying life in Saudi Arabia.
Randal Kolo Muani, Kylian Mbappe, and Ousmane Dembele are now leading the charge in PSG this season.
And following their shock 4-1 defeat to Newcastle United in Champions League Group F on Wednesday, Messi trended on X.
