Former Super Eagles player, Sunday Oliseh has expressed how heartbroken he is concerning Liverpool not getting crowned English Premier League Champions this season.
Manchester City were crowned EPL champions yesterday with Liverpool trailing behind them.
Liverpool ended the season as the first team in English top division history to lose as few as one league game and not win the title.
Expressing his sadness at their ending the season without the title, Sunday Oliseh, an Olympic Gold Medalist tweeted:
How on earth is it possible to amass 97 points,lose only 1 game the whole season but still not be crowned champions ? breaks my heart for Liverpool. Liverpool deserve total respect and our sympathy.
Liverpool will be hoping to end the season with a trophy as they prepare to face Tottenham in the UEFA Champions League final.
