France & Manchester United star man, Paul Pogba has named his fellow countryman, N’Golo Kante has the toughest and most tricky player he has faced.
Pogba and Kante who played a big part in the country, France triumph at the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia have faced eachother in the English Premier League for three seasons now.
Even with the fact that Pogba has faced some of the game’s best players including Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo, he still picks Kante as the toughest.
In a recent interview with The Times, Pogba, 26, was specifically asked to mention the most difficult opponent he has faced throughout his career.
Pogba to the surprise of many, singled out fellow countryman, N’Golo Kante.
When the question was thrown at him, he simply said: “N’golo [Kante],” he says after a bit of thought, before agreeing that it’s good to have him on his team.
Kante in recent years, has cemented his place as one of the finest midfielders of his generation having played a vital role in the title -winning units of Leicester and Chelsea, World Cup win for France and the recent Europa League title win for Chelsea again.
