There have been reports about Raheem Sterling’s presence in London in the days leading up to his medical examination with Chelsea.
The Blues and Manchester City have negotiated a cost of £45 million (plus £10 million in add-ons) for the 27-year-old, who will be Todd Boehly’s first marquee signing at the club.
Sterling is poised to join Chelsea in the coming days, but he must first pass a medical. The England international will get his physical in London before flying to the United States to join his new Chelsea teammates.
Sterling was recently photographed in London on Instagram, with his barber, @hd cutz london, showing off his new haircut. Sterling’s hair is now in tip-top shape, and he should be set to complete his big-money move to Chelsea.
Thomas Tuchel will be hoping Sterling’s signing would bolster his underperforming front line. Christian Pulisic, Hakim Ziyech, Romelu Lukaku, and Timo Werner all underperformed in the attacking third last season.
