Thibaut Courtois, a goalkeeper for Real Madrid, has proposed to his model girlfriend Mishel Gerzig, capping up a successful 2021/22 season.
With a Man-of-the-Match performance against Liverpool in the Champions League Final on Saturday, May 28, in Paris, Courtois propelled the Spanish giants to their 14th European crown.
During the match, the Belgian produced a series of saves to keep Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah from scoring.
Courtois believed it was time to ask his gorgeous girlfriend to marry him just days after tasting European triumph.
Gerzig joyfully accepted the proposal when the former Chelsea goalkeeper got down on one knee during a summer getaway on a yacht in a gorgeous environment.
Gerzig, an Israeli supermodel, later shared photos of the former Chelsea star’s proposal on her Instagram account to offer followers a peek of the important occasion.
“Yessss to a lifetime with you,” she posted. On his part,
Courtois replied:
“Love of my life.”
Courtois and Gerzig began dating in 2021, and according to SunSport, the duo is supportive of one another.
