Denis Suarez has expressed his desire to leave Barcelona and would prefer to remain in the Spanish La Liga.
The 25 year old who returned to the club in 2016 spent half of last season on loan at Arsenal where he okayed just six games due to his battle with injury.
The youngster now find playing in England unappealing. He however wants more playing tine with a Spanish team other than Barcelona.
“What I want is to leave Barca and play,” Suarez told El Larguero.
“My goal is to stay in the Spanish league. I have been in Barcelona for two months recovering from the injury and nobody from Barca has told me anything.”
With a contract expiring with Barcelona in 2021, Denis Suarez is rumored to be getting interest from Valencia. The player is also looking forward to reunite with Marcellino in Valencia, haven okayed under him in Sevilla.
“Marcelino is the best coach I’ve ever had. I speak regularly with him,” Suarez said.
“It’s not true that I rejected Valencia. Valencia have never shown any interest in signing me as they are doing now.”
However, Suarez is also getting interests from Atletico Madrid and Celta Vigo who will have to pay €20million before they can grab him from Barcelona.
