Fulham had a busy transfer deadline day’s signings this summer under Marco Silva.
London’s oldest professional football club completed a loan for Leeds winger Dan James after a busy deadline day for the team, which also saw the loan of Paris St. Germain left-back Layvin Kurzawa and the permanent signings of Willian and Carlos Vinicius.
James, a Wales international, is looking for consistent first-team action before the 2022 World Cup, which starts in November.
James felt he would not get the playing time he desired if he signed with Antonio Conte’s team, despite the fact that three other Premier League clubs, including Tottenham, were interested in the 22-year-old.

The 29-year-old French international Kurzawa has joined Silva’s team on a season-long loan from PSG, and Vinicius, a former Tottenham striker, transferred from Benfica for an undisclosed fee.

Additionally, Fulham loaned out defender Terence Kongolo to Ligue 2 team Le Havre and backup goalkeeper Gazzaniga to La Liga team Girona for the remainder of the season.
