Juventus are in with Chelsea to snatch Romelu Lukaku from Inter Milan.
Sky Sports reports that Inter Milan have made it clear they are still interested in taking the Belgian back on a permanent deal.
The Belgian spent last season on loan at Inter Milan and returned to Stamford Bridge on July 1
But one of Inter Milan’s directors recently admitted the striker may have to be patient for that deal to be done, with it likely to be later in the window after raising money through player sales before Inter can afford it.
Meanwhile, Lukaku has been linked with a move to Saudi Arabia with Al Hilal interested, but the striker is not interested in a move out to the Middle East.
Chelsea have also been linked with an interest in Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic, so there is a suggestion the clubs could be in talks over a possible swap deal with Lukaku.
Juve are said to be open to selling 23-year-old Serbia striker this summer, with reports the player has requested to leave the Serie A club, but they want to recoup the majority of the £70million they paid to sign him from Fiorentina in January 2022
