Goncalo Ramos will only be allowed to leave Benfica if his suitors are willing to cough out the sum of £69million.
Manchester United are in the front queue of clubs lining up the Portuguese’s signature.
Benfica president, Rui Costa said that such clubs will have to pay the £69million they are demanding for the striker.
Portuguese newspaper Correio da Manha reports that the 22-year-old is being chased by several top clubs after bagging 27 goals and 12 assists last season.
Costa believes that United will pay up for the Portugal international after they rejected an offer worth around £52m from an unnamed club.
United tried to sign Ramos in the January transfer window, but had to settle for Wout Weghorst on loan, because of a lack of funds.
Ramos’ 19 league goals helped fire Benfica to the Primeira League title last season and he reached the Champions League quarter-finals with them for the second season running
