Paul Pogba will leave Manchester United for a new club later this month, the club announced on Wednesday.
The Red Devils made the announcement today on their website.
“The club can announce that Paul Pogba will leave Manchester United at the end of June, upon the expiry of his contract,” the statement read in part.
“The Frenchman has enjoyed a long association with United, having joined the club’s Academy from Le Havre at the age of just 16.”
In recent weeks, Pogba, 29, has been linked with a move to both Paris Saint-Germain and Juventus.
In other news, Mohamed Salah, Liverpool’s star striker, is willing to let his contract at Anfield expire before joining a Premier League rival on a free transfer in 2023.
Salah’s contract at Liverpool expires in a year, and negotiations between the two parties have stalled.
The Egyptian captain wishes to double his weekly salary to around £400,000 per week and believes that his performances warrant such an increase.
