Former Germany playmaker, Mesut Ozil, expressed his delight with the results of matches involving two of his former teams.
Ozil played for Real Madrid from 2010 to 2013 before he joined Arsenal where he played until 2021.
On Tuesday night, Arsenal defeated Sevilla 2-1 to go top of Group B.
Gabriel Martinelli and Gabriel Jesus gave the Gunners a two-goal lead, before the LaLiga side pulled one back.
Real Madrid also thrashed Braga 2-1 in Portugal.
Rodrygo and Jude Bellingham put Los Blancos ahead, before Alvaro Djalo scored a consolation for the hosts.
Writing on X, Ozil said: “Real winning, Arsenal winning – an UCL evening to enjoy đđ„”
Ozil retired from playing football this year.
